Preparation process:

Carbonization: Heat the wood to 200°C to 300°C in an oxygen-deficient environment to remove moisture and volatile substances.

Activation: Increase the specific surface area and pore structure of carbon by chemical (using potassium hydroxide, phosphoric acid, etc.) or physical (using water vapor or carbon dioxide) methods.

Application areas:

Water treatment: Used to remove organic pollutants, heavy metals, pigments and odors in water.

Air purification: Used in household air purifiers and industrial waste gas treatment to remove harmful gases and odors.

Food and beverage: Used for decolorization and purification of sugars and alcohol.

Medicine and chemical industry: As a catalyst carrier or used in drug purification process.
